Big kudos on a "small" project

And by small project we mean it was literally tiny - miniature, really.

You may recall the Small Things in Store for a Big Project post we did back in November on the miniature scene we were building for the Second Annual Equipment Roadeo. Well, the project is finished and it's fantastic.

Small Things in Store for a Big Project

You may recall my post a while back about the movie Fantastic Mr. Fox. You didn't know it, but I was actually doing some research for an upcoming client project. As you can tell, I got pretty excited about the possibility of fashioning a project after this idea - and so did our client. We're not attempting stop motion, but rather photographing a miniature scene and using that photograph as the main image on the promo materials for the Second Annual Equipment Roadeo. Chicago Marathon Campaign Illustrations

I was in Chicago last September and I was amazed and inspired by the promotional campaign for the 2009 Chicago Marathon. The illustrator, Chuck Anderson, created each illustration from handmade shoe prints. The illustrations appeared throughout Chicago on building murals, billboards, light pole banners, etc.
The messaging behind the promotional campaign was to encourage runners to "leave their mark" both through participating in the race as well as running on behalf of a charity.
